In a letter to S.S. McClure, Bentzon introduces Lucy Monroe who has ideas for McClure's Magzine and asks McClure to introduce her to Augusto Floriano Jaccaci. In a letter to Harriet Hurd McClure, Bentzon regrets that both their health problems have prevented travel and meeting, wants S.S. McClurae to visit her son in Paris, and discusses the Revue Des Deux Mondes matter. Sarah Orne Jewett and Ferdinand Brunetière are both mentioned briefly.
